Great Migration Calving Season: Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Ndutu and Serengeti

A photographic journey through Northern Tanzania during one of the most atmospheric periods of the year. Fresh landscapes, dramatic skies and soft light accompanied the route from Tarangire’s baobabs to the Ngorongoro highlands and the short-grass plains of Ndutu.

The report follows the Great Migration calving season, observing newborn wildebeest, large herds and predator behaviour while also exploring the quieter photographic moments created by weather, landscape and changing light.
